PLAIN HDF BOARDS

HDF (High Density Fiber Board) will be an engineered wood subsitute formed by refining of wood into small and fine fiber and combining it with paraffin wax and resin by applying high temperature and pressure. The HDF board has a smooth, hard surface which makes it perfect for painting, staining, grain printing and lamination.

HDF is expected to have a density range between 900-950 Kg/m3 with the manufacturing process being more or less same as the one being used in Medium Density Fiber Boards.

The product advantages include high strength (MOR of 50 N.mm2 and MOE of 4000 N/mm2 ) ,ease of machining, good weathering properties, low thickness and swelling so that the HDF board can be used where higher strength properties or more specialized machining characteristics are required.

Applications
HDF finds applications in Shoe Heels, Exterior Furniture, Door Frames (Choukhat). TV Cabinet Covers, Ash Tray, Seats of Rail Coaches and Buses etc.
